  • The Purchasing Process

    Our 'www.sittostanddesks.com.au' E-commerce site allows you to safely place an order online by Credit Card, PayPal or Direct Bank Transfer.

    Alternatively, please call +61(3) 9576 7432 to place an order over the phone or send an email to info@consoleconcepts.com.au with your order details. You can also visit our showroom for a no obligation demo (please call +61(3) 9576 7432 to arrange an appointment) where you can purchase any products using cash. Console Concepts is located at Factory 194, 248-266 Osborne Ave, Clayton South VIC 3169 (approximately 30 mins from the Melbourne CBD).

    Lead time is dictated by the type and size of the order. Generally; Alpha Sit-to-stands desks are dispatched within a couple days to three weeks; from the time of purchase. Please refer to individual product pages for current lead time estimates. Control room consoles and studio consoles are built to order (please allow 3-6 weeks from the time of purchase). Please contact us for an up to date lead time estimate regarding control room consoles and studio consoles.

    Payment must be received in full upon purchase for all new customers or customers without credit accounts.

    Repeat customers may apply for a credit account. Successful applicants will receive 30 day credit terms. Any orders over $20 000 will require a 50% deposit.

    When you fill out an online form:

      - we will record the information provided
      - we will only use this information for the purposes for which you provided it
      - we will not pass this information to any third parties without your consent except in the unlikely event of an investigation where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to disclose certain information
  • Payment Options

    Direct Bank Transfer

    Direct Bank Transfer is our preferred method of payment. Once an order has been finalised, we will email you an order number with payment instructions. So that we can identify your payment you will need to enter your order number into the description field when using online banking or at the bank teller. Direct Bank Transfers take longer then credit card payments, so depending on the bank that you're with, the order may take up to 2 days longer before being shipped. Our banking details are:

    Credit Card Payments

    We accept Visa, Mastercard and additional platinum cards. The security of your personal and financial data is our top priority. Therefore, we protect the security of your data during transmission using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software and process your payments using the secure Stripe Payment Gateway. Please note that all credit card orders submitted to Console Concepts are subject to extensive verification and fraud checking which may result in the request of documents such as driver's licence or credit card statements.




  • Delivery

    All orders are sent by road freight or available Australia Post options as default, unless otherwise agreed. Customer will pay all delivery charges. Delivery times using road freight usually are; Melbourne next day, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide 2nd or 3rd day. All other capital cities may take up to 7days. Australian Capital cities include Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, ACT, Perth and Sydney. Please note that remote areas or country areas outside the capital cities may incur additional delivery fees. If we find that your delivery address is outside our scope, we will contact you immediately and either offer a new delivery serive price or a full refund.

    All goods require a signature on delivery.

    We do not accept a PO Box for a delivery address.

    Goods will be delivered to the address specified by the purchaser between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure that your business hours delivery address is entered when placing an order. After hours and weekend deliveries will incur additional costs, please contact info@consoleconcepts.com.au for more information.

    Pick-ups can be arranged from our Melbourne (Clayton South) factory. Simply send an email to info@consoleconcepts.com.au with your request for further details. Console Concepts is located at Factory 194, 248-266 Osborne Ave, Clayton South VIC 3169 (approximately 30 mins from the Melbourne CBD).

  • International Customers

    If you live outside of Australia and would like to purchase any of our products, send an email to info@consoleconcepts.com.au for information. Customers are responsible for the importation of the product including all customs requirements, duties and taxes.

  • Return Policy

    Because all CONSOLE CONCEPTS consoles and desks are made to order and often customised to the customer's particular needs we do not offer 'change of mind returns' for any consoles/desks.

    Other Returns

    CONSOLE CONCEPTS will accept product returns and provide you with a refund or repair in the following circumstances:

      - the product is faulty or unacceptable quality
      - the product is not fit for its intended purpose
      - the product does not match the sample in the showroom or product description

    CONSOLE CONCEPTS may elect to return the product to our manufacturing site for repair and to determine the nature of the problem. CONSOLE CONCEPTS reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

    Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt with the packing slip and/or invoice.

    You are responsible for any costs associated with returning your item to us, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Title of goods

    Title of goods does not transfer to the customer and remains vested in CONSOLE CONCEPTS until payment in full is received. The goods are held as fiduciary bailee and agent for CONSOLE CONCEPTS.

    In the event that a customer goes into liquidation, or becomes bankrupt, CONSOLE CONCEPTS reserves the right to recover the goods if they have not been paid for in full. CONSOLE CONCEPTS reserves the right to collect the goods if the customer refuses to pay for the goods or fails to meet their contract obligations and payments. CONSOLE CONCEPTS employees or agents may enter without notice and remove the goods notwithstanding that they may have been attached to other goods not the property of CONSOLE CONCEPTS. The customer irrevocably licences CONSOLE CONCEPTS to enter the premises and remove the goods without action resulting in trespass, any costs, claims, demands or similar actions.

    Until payment is received in full, the customer must keep the goods separate from any other goods and clearly identified as CONSOLE CONCEPTS property, maintaining packaging and labelling.

  • Warranty

    Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality. The benefits under this Warranty Policy are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    The aluminium frame used in each CONSOLE CONCEPTS console is warranted against failure due to a manufacturing fault for a period of up to 5 years from the date of purchase.

    Other components including; benchtops, cabinets, foam and leather padding are also warranted against failure due to a manufacturing defect for a period of 5 years.

    For warranty periods on 'Accessories'; please refer to individual product pages.

    Electric and motion components used in CONSOLE CONCEPTS products are warranted for 5 years as per Linak's (manufacturer's) warranty. Any warranty does not apply in circumstances where:

      - the goods or services are not defective;
      - the goods were used or services required for a purpose other than for which they were intended;
      - the goods were repaired, modified or altered by any non authorised person;
      - the defect has arisen due to misuse, neglect or accident;
      - the defect has arisen due to the incorrect installation of the goods;
      - the goods have not been stored or maintained as recommended;
      - the defect has arisen due to normal wear and tear on the goods; or
      - the Customer is in breach of the Conditions.

    Fabrics, leathers, doors, caterpillar tracks will show signs of wear and tear with use. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this additional warranty. Fabrics and leathers will fade and crease. Foam and fillings will soften and form to the shape of the user over time. Scars, marks and differing pore density and colour are natural characteristics of leather and not to be considered defects.

    Any repair or replacement under this warranty is limited to the defective part only.

    CONSOLE CONCEPTS reserves the right to decide whether a component should be repaired or replaced. CONSOLE CONCEPTS Customer service must be notified of any defect within 14 days of the defect occurring.

    This warranty will end immediately if the goods become defective as a consequence of misuse, abuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, unauthorised service, modifications, improper installation, damaged caused by accident, use outdoors, lack of proper care and maintenance, or handling in transit.

    Any service or repairs to CONSOLE CONCEPTS products carried out by non CONCOLE CONCEPTS personnel will void this Warranty.

    To make a claim under this Warranty you must have proof of purchase that shows the product name and date of purchase (eg. invoice). Contact CONSOLE CONCEPTS by email at info@consoleconcepts.com.au with details of the product code, details of the problem, how it happened and photos if possible.

    Extended warranty available upon request.
